My name is Julie Franklin, and I can’t begin to express how excited I am to be at Lavonia Elementary this year. I am originally from Franklin County, but later moved in my teens to Elbert County. My family currently lives in the great big city of Bowman, Ga., but we are hoping we can eventually move to beautiful Franklin County. My husband, Scott and I have been married for 24 years, and we have two sons, Jake and Josh.

I absolutely love teaching, and I am looking forward to the opportunity to work with my students! As we work toward each goal that is placed before them, I always realize how incredibly awesome they are. I thank God for the opportunity to work with them and help them realize that they are amazing individuals, and with their own incredible gifts and talents, they can discover success in all areas of their lives.
