Subjects Taught
1st Grade

I have always been proud to call Lavonia, Georgia my home. As a child, I attended Lavonia Elementary School. L.E.S. helped shape me into the person I am today! I am so thankful that I'm able to teach at the best school on the planet, and that I get to help shape the lives of the children of Lavonia. I also attended Franklin County Middle School, and I graduated from Franklin County High in 2007. In 2011, I graduated from Emmanuel College with a Bachelors of Science degree in Early Childhood Education.
After graduation, I began working as a second grade paraprofessional with Mrs. Sandra Thurman. In 2012, I was hired as a second grade teacher. I then moved to first grade, which I've taught for three years. Currently, I am pursuing my Gifted Endorsement which will enable me to teach gifted students as well. I can't wait to meet my new students this year! It is such an honor and a blessing to be a teacher!
In 2013, I married my best friend, Brandon Crooms. We attend Lavonia Church of God where Brandon serves as youth pastor of Encounter Student Ministries. I love spending time with my family, friends, and our youth group.
